Mit dem Zug:
Nehmen Sie am Hauptbahnhof eine der Linien S1 (Herrenberg), S2 (Filderstadt via Flughafen) oder S3 (Flughafen) und fahren sie direkt bis zur Haltestelle Universität (4. Haltestelle nach Hbf).
Vom Flughafen nehmen Sie eine der S-Bahnen in Richtung Hauptbahnhof, d.h. S2 (Schorndorf) oder S3 (Backnang) und fahren sie bis zu Haltestelle Universität.
Verlassen Sie den Bahnhof am Ausgang "Universitätseinrichtungen. Unser Gebäude Pfaffenwaldring 55 ist nun einfach zu finden: Es ist das nächste Gebäude mit 9 Stockwerken, welches Sie sehen können (Karte Campus Vaihingen). Unser Institut befindet sich dort im 9. Stock.
Mit dem Auto:
Verlassen Sie die Autobahn A8 am Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart in Richtung Stuttgart auf die A831/B14. Fahren Sie dort an der zweiten Ausfahrt von Bundesstraße in Richtung Universität ab (Karte Anfahrt). Das Gebäde Pfaffenwaldring 55 ist eines der beiden höchsten auf dem Campus (Karte Campus Vaihingen).
How to find us:
By train:
From Stuttgart Central Station take the local train (S-Bahn) S1, S2 or S3 and reach directly the University (fourth station after the central station). The directions Herrenberg, Vaihingen, Filderstadt and airport (Flughafen) are all correct.
If you arrive at the airport you can take every train direction except Filderstadt and leave it at the university.
After leaving the train you take the exit "Universitätseinrichtungen". From there it is easy to find the building Pfaffenwaldring 55. It is the nearest building with 9 floors (Map Campus Vaihingen). Our Institute is located on the 9th floor.
By car:
You take the motorway A8 (from Munich or Karlsruhe) to the intersection Stuttgart-Vaihingen and then continue in the direction Stuttgart. The second exit is called "Universität" (Approach Campus Vaihingen. The building Pfaffenwaldring 55 is one of the two highest buildings on the campus (Map Campus Vaihingen).
