Subject
Electronic Structure and Dynamics of Chromium Based Catalyst
In this project different chromium complexes are investigated with an array of analytical methods. The focus is on EPR spectroscopy and SQUID magnetometry to understand the electronic properties of these compounds. The complexes are used for catalysis in an activated state which will also be investigated. The aim of the project is to tune the selectivity of these complexes and to understand the catalytic processes in detail.
