Subject
The aim of my project is the synthesis of a novel polymer, which serves as a matrix for molecular spin quantum bits. This matrix should reduce coherence time shortening of the electronic spin of the qubit. This effect will then be studied by distributing a molecular spin qubit in such a polymer and measuring the spin relaxation times via pulsed EPR-spectroscopy. This hybrid material can potentially be formed into a thin film.
