My project revolves around the interaction of Localizes Surface Plasmon Resonances of metallic nanodisks with magnetic molecules, specifically copper porphyrinoids. The molecular films deposited on the nanodisks have been prepared by means of thermal evaporation and spin coating in Pisa and characterized by means of room temperature Magnetic Circular Dichroism. I am currently performing low temperature MCD measurements to complement and finalize this study.
