When coming from Stuttgart main station (Hauptbahnhof), take the local train (S-Bahn) lines S1, S2 or S3. The directions Herrenberg, Vaihingen, Filderstadt, and airport (Flughafen) are all correct. Get off at the fourth stop (Universität), which is directly at the university.
When coming from Stuttgart airport, take the local train (S-Bahn) lines S2 or S3 towards Schorndorf or Backnang. It will take you directly to the station at the university (Universität).

At the underground platform, please use the exit "Universitätsbereich". After leaving the station, walk straight towards the first of the two highest buildings on the campus (NWZ I, Building no. 55).

You will find the offices of our group on the 9th floor between the green and blue elevators (9.304, 9.334 and 9.356) and behind the green elevator (9.501).

When coming from the motorways A8 or A81, take the A831 at the interchange "Kreuz Stuttgart" and follow the signs for "Stuttgart-Vaihingen" and "Universität." After a short while, the motorway A831 becomes motorway B14, where you can use the exit "Universität". Turn left into "Universitätsstrasse" on the following intersection. Then take the first exit on the right side (Pfaffenwaldring). Following this street, on the the left side, a parking lot (Keltenschanze) will appear. From there, the "map of the campus Vaihingen" and the upper description will guide you to the Institute of Physical Chemistry.
