Synthesis and Characterization of Graphdiyne

I am working on the synthesis of graphdiyne, a novel carbon-based 2D material. Graphdiyne is synthesized on a silver substrate using chemical vapor deposition under argon atmosphere. The silver substrate is self-made by epitaxy on a Si/SiO2 wafer and electrolytic growth to achieve super-flat surfaces. The resulting graphdiyne is analyzed by Raman microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
