Electronic Investigations of Chemically Doped Semiconducting Polymer Films
The thesis aims to investigate tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane (BCF) as a molecular dopant for the semiconducting polymer, Poly[2,5-bis(3-tetradecylthiophen-2-yl)thieno[3,2-b]thiophene] (PBTTT-C14). The work involves the preparation of pristine and doped films via spin coating on different kinds of substrates and their characterization. Spectroscopic techniques such as cw-EPR, UV-vis-NIR and Raman spectroscopy are used along with AFM and charge transport measurements.
