Modelling of the electron spin decoherence induced by the nuclear spin bath
Molecular electronic spin qubits (MSQs) are the most versatile building blocks for the development of quantum technologies. The quantum properties of MSQs are only accessible for a limit of time. Decoherence is a problem of every quantum platform. The quantum coherence time can be measured by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. But there are also several models to simulate the coherence time. The aim of this project is to write a script with Matlab to model the coherence time of MSQs for a nuclear spin bath with I = ½.
